Dr. Joyce Yards has never met anyone as irresistible as 466. Their therapy sessions are growing hotter, his raw sexual hunger becoming aggressive, and he refuses to discuss anything except the possibility of getting her naked. Joy understands the dire consequences if she indulges her passion. It will break her heart but she must walk away.

Moon has been drugged, his memory shattered, and he’s now little more than feral, a dangerous threat to everyone. In their need for help, the NSO doctors turn to the only female Moon ever cared about—the one who left him behind two years ago.

Moon isn’t the same male Joy once knew. There are no rules now. If sex tames the wild beast and triggers his fractured memories, allowing him moments of lucidity, then Joy will give him everything, body and soul. She’ll do whatever it takes to save him—even at the cost of her own life.

FIVE STARS! Somehow each book just keeps getting better and better! I love Justice and Slade, they have always been my favorites but now they need to make room for Moon because he ranks right up there with them!

I especially loved how Joy was the only one who could reach Moon in his feral state!! And Joy’s dads reaction about Moon being a canine new species? PRICELESS!

Laurann – you keep writing great novels as you always have and ill continue to buy them all on release day and read them in one sitting! ❤

How do you ditch your Fairy Godmother?

As her 25th birthday approaches, mild-mannered Philomena Swann lives in terror of her annual birthday wish. Not enough to give them magical powers, but enough to qualify for a fairy godmother from hell.

All Phil wants is, just once, to have the courage to speak her mind. She blurts out her wish and suddenly finds she can’t stop. To her friends. Her boss. Her Nana. And her best friend, hot and hunky co-worker, Josh. Before she can do any more damage, she begs for the spell to be reversed. And it is with a vengeance. Now everyone else is compelled to tell her the truth. Including Josh.

But the fairy godmother’s not done. One more wish could change Phil’s world forever if it doesn’t ruin her life first.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED! At one point this book had me laughing so hard I nearly peed my pants!!! I’m not sure what I loved more – Phil, Josh or the hysterical things that keep happening to Phil due to her wishes! Evangeline is so talented and I’ve loved every one of her books that I’ve read! MUST READ!

This is by far my favorite book in this series and I have read them all.

Justice and Jessie are both so thick-headed and headstrong that they are such a perfect match! This book had a nice build up – it certainly wasn’t “instant love” like a lot of books these days seem to have! I just love these characters! It’s about time someone “claimed” the leader of the NS!

If you haven’t heard of this series, check it out! Better yet – check out anything by this author, she is amazing and I have loved every single thing she’s ever written!

I didn’t think I could like this type of book more than I did the first one but Hunted proved me wrong! Someway, somehow I like this one even better than the first!!!

It was so easy to fall for Sylvan and Sophia – both have been hurt before, both so afraid to open their hearts! Sylvan was just the perfect alpha male – protective, sensitive, honorable and so freaking hot! *sigh* Where can I get my own Sylvan?

I loved this book from start to finish and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series!

Claimed (Brides of the Kindred 1) by Evangeline Anderson

26085501

Olivia Waterhouse has just graduated from nursing school and has her whole life ahead of her—until she gets drafted. Problem is, she isn’t being forced into the Army, she’s been chosen as a Kindred bride.

The Kindred are huge alien warriors—a race of genetic traders whose population is ninety-five percent male. After saving Earth from the threat of invasion they demand a reward—the right to find brides among the population. The chances of being chosen are about the same as those of winning the lottery—guess it’s just Liv’s lucky day.

Baird is a Beast Kindred who recently escaped imprisonment and torture at the hands of the malevolent Scourge. Through the torment and pain only one thing kept him sane—the thought of finding and claiming his bride—Olivia. His need to possess her is a burning intensity that threatens to consume them both.

Angry at having her future and her family taken away from her, Liv vows to fight back the only way she can—by resisting. She has one month on the Kindred Mothership with Baird—their claiming period. If she can keep from having bonding sex with him during that time, she can go home and get on with her life on Earth.

But Baird isn’t going to make it easy for her. Every week he is allowed to touch Liv more and more intimately and according to the contract she signed, she has to let him. She’s determined to resist him but his touch sets her on fire. And just as she thinks she knows what she wants, a twist of fate and an attack by the faceless Scourge AllFather changes everything…

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I loved how different and unique it was. The alien ship and the way things were so different and advanced there was so fascinating to me. It was great!!

I loved the banter between Baird and Olivia. So cute!!! I even found myself laughing at their antics many times! Poor Baird just wanted a mate and was so good to her. But, if I was in her place I wouldn’t give in so easily either. I mean, being taken from everything and everyone you know is not an easy thing to deal with or accept.

Oh and the sexin’ was hawt. I want to be ‘drafted’ now. Yep, I want my own Kindred!

GREAT read! I loved it from start to finish and I can’t wait to read the next one once it comes out!

This was a cute, fun read. There was very little angst (which I LOVED) and the story moved right along. It moved at a perfect pace and everything was tied up nicely in the end.

I truly enjoyed reading this story but I finished it and felt like it just needed more. More story? More character development? I’m not sure what it needed but I felt like this was a novella rather than a novel. It was a good story, nothing was wrong with it but I just wanted MORE.

I literally read this book in one sitting. I just couldn’t put it down!

I love the friendship between Ash and Tatiana aka Tatchi, I would have loved to have seen more interaction between them and I’m sure we will in future books.

Fin, Fin, Fin. Let me count the ways how much I love Fin! I love his charm, how protective he is of his family and those he loves, the way he doesn’t give up and he keeps fighting. I just love him. I was pulling for him and Ash from the beginning and I love them together. Seriously.

Other than the King and the King’s family I can’t think of anything I didn’t like about this book. Well, my heart did break for poor Tatchi but hopefully she’ll get her happy ending later on in the series!! Overall, great book and I’m sure the rest of the serious is amazing as well. It was a nice, quick read!

Drantos (VLG, #1) by Laurann Dohner

26085501

For most, a plane crash means the end of life. For Dusti Dawson, it’s just the beginning…

Dusti and her sister Batina survived the crash, thanks to a couple of brothers who are equal parts menacing and muscled. She’d be grateful…if they hadn’t turned out to be delusional kidnappers, who believe Dusti’s grandfather is some monstrous halfbreed creature bent on murder. Turns out Vampires, Lycans, and Gargoyles do exist— and they’ve been crossbreeding to form two hybrid races. Drantos, the man Dusti can’t stop lusting after, is one of the most dangerous of all.

VampLycans Drantos and Kraven were sent to eliminate a threat to their clan. But when that threat turns out to be mostly human women, clueless of their lineage, plans change—especially after Drantos gets a taste of Dusti’s blood. Now, he’ll die to protect her. Even if that means walking away from everything he knows to keep her at his side.

Is her strong desire for Drantos reason enough to endure danger coming from all sides? Or should Dusti cut and run the first chance she gets?

Anyone that knows anything about my reading habits knows that I am a huge fan of Laurann Dohner. I love her books; they are an automatic go-to for my to be read pile. When I saw this book available for pre-order months ago I was so excited to read something new from her.

The VLG series takes us on a completely new adventure and I loved it! I’ll be honest, the book did not have the fastest start and the first few chapters didn’t exactly draw me into the book but once you go past that it was non-stop action (just as most of Mrs. Dohner’s books usually are!).

Drantos was a dreamy, sexy, alpha-male with a kind, romantic side. I loved him. I wonder where I can find one…

Dusti did piss me off at some points, I don’t agree with everything she did or her reasoning behind things but in the end she grew on me. And I love her and Drantos, they compliment each other so well.

It comes to no surprise to me that I enjoyed reading this, Laurann always publishes great reads. If you’re looking for a new paranormal romance from a consistent author check this out!
